Building community, nurturing spiritual intellect, and upholding shared human and Islamic values for more than two decades.
For over two decades, LUMS Religious Society has fostered a diverse and welcoming space for students, faculty, and staff to embrace religious teachings and engage in constructive dialogue.
Through monthly sessions featuring prominent scholars such as Junaid Jamshed, Maulana Tariq Jameel, and Ustaad Nouman Ali Khan (which marked the largest audience ever recorded for a student-run event at LUMS), LRS continuously connects faith with everyday life.
Offering regular courses on Quranic Arabic, Tajweed, Seerah, Ahadith, and Islamic Philosophy, LRS also leads impactful humanitarian campaigns, including Palestine fundraising relief, refugee aid, and uniting over 4,000 students during Ramadan for shared Sehr-o-Iftaar at the LUMS Mosque.
"We are honored to serve a community that celebrates religion, spirituality, and cultural roots at LUMS. In a fast-paced academic environment that constantly calls for balance, we are committed to organizing lectures, classes, exhibitions, and charity drives that help students forge lasting bonds with their traditions and philosophy. LRS provides a welcoming, safe, and intellectually vibrant space for all seeking a deeper connection with God."
