About LRF

Last year, LRF happened for the first time ever in 38 years history of LUMS. It is an all-encompassing event that projects what LRS stands for, including five religious-themed competitions and multiple socials, which are designed to increase spirituality of participants. LRF welcomes an expected attendance of 500+ participants from numerous colleges and universities throughout Pakistan.

Competitions

Competitions that would take place in LRF:

Fehm-e-Islam

A Quiz on Islamic History and Culture. Includes a written test, Rapid Fire round and a Buzzer round.

Tasveer-e-Tajalli

Content Creation category that includes (1) still life photography and (2) Storyboarding competition.

Hujjat-e-Haq

A Declamation and Debating Competition on the topic of “Socio-political contexualization of Religion

Tajjali-e-Khat-o-rang

Islamic Artistry and Themed Calligraphy. Themes include “Mercy, Gratitude, Humility, Forgiveness

Mizmar-e-Dawood

Naat and Qirat based on Misri Style recitation and Sana-e-Rasool (SAW)

Sareer e khama (publications)

Segregated Sports

Join us for an exhilarating Sports Event featuring Basketball, Volleyball, and Tug of War in separate categories for both males and females. Teams will compete with each other in league matches. Culminating in an exciting face-off between the top two teams.
